I am a satisfied soul as a teacher.Actively involved in teaching Undergraduates as well as Postgraduates in Obst. & Gyn. teaching since 1986.

  • Actively involved in Teaching & upgrading the surgical skills of gynecologists across India through e-Gurukul - 2 Series (approximately 40 episodes).
  • Formed Obst. & Gynaec. Teachers’ Forum of India (OGTFI) & ongoing continuous teaching programmes for Postgraduate in O&G across the country.
  • Started the Gynaec. Endoscopic Training Centre in Odisha in 2005 and imparting training to Gynaecologists across the country.
  • Ongoing Skill Development Training to Gynaecologists from various parts of India and abroad in batches for last 20 years
  • Given vision for Revamping Medical Education in Obst. & Gynaecology

My Efforts Towards Innovation so far

Innovation in various Surgical Techniques and Surgical Instruments in the field of Obst. & Gynaec.
Propagated the concept of Sutureless Hysterectomy and different vaginal surgeries through vessel sealing technology as a daycare Surgery, which has become an established procedure in the Country and International level.
Leader in the Country to propagate “Anaemia Free India“ in women and working for last few decades in reducing maternal mortality and infant mortality.
Leader to start Maternity Insurance Movement in the country in 2011.
First to start Gynaec. Endoscopy and propagate the concept of Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) – 1990.
Pioneering effort in establishing ART activities in the State of Odisha – 2000.

  • Selected as Advisory Board Member for the Mission and Vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha to transform S.C.B. Medical College and Hospital to a World Class Medical College & Hospital.
